This wastewater treatment plant is part of a Slovenian company that provides services for collecting and managing hazardous and non-hazardous liquid waste.
The wastewater to be treated results from the collection of different hazardous and non-hazardous wastewater in diverse industrial activities and car wash facilities, but they have a main common characteristic of containing a high concentration of oil and grease.
The purpose of this system is to pre-treat these waters to reduce their loads to allow their discharge into the municipal sewage line.
The solutions applied by VentilAQUA are based on the use of an Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP). In this case, an electrocoagulation process (VABEC) was combined with a Dissolved Ozone Flotation System (DOF).
