The new dairy industrial unit, Terra Alegre Lacticínios, S.A. (Grupo Jerónimo Martins) was envisaged to embody the world’s best technical solutions, displaying great efficiency and environmental sustainability in several dimensions. Ever since the beginning of the wastewater treatment project, VentilAQUA responded to our needs, expectations, and requirements, not only by efficiently treating the effluent which is typical of the industry at stake but also by allowing us to reuse water, attracting savings of this scarce resource. From the construction until the launching of the plant, the availability and technical ability demonstrated, confirmed us that opting for VentilAQUA was the right decision, for it has been establishing with us a trustful relationship, beneficial to all interested parties.
We, Domžale – Kamnik Wastewater Treatment Plant, installed a pre-treatment VentilAQUA electro-coagulation cell capable of removing recalcitrant and hazardous compounds from wastewater. Removal efficiencies are high and consistent with the ability to eliminate 59 to 99% of heavy metals, up to 99% of mineral oil, up to 73% of detergent and to reduce the COD by 50 to 95%, depending on the composition of the wastewater. The technical support given by VentilAqua is excellent. Overall, the VentilAQUA cell is a good example of an efficient technology for pre-treating wastewater…
